Open Question: Why would a romantic not want to be intimate? (married people only plz)?

There is two married couples I know. Couple A: They have kids. The woman is the biggest romantic sap out there loves movies, books, loved it when she was dating etc. But wants nothing to do with her husband physically. Why? Sidenote they have issues, they fight all the time. Couple B: The woman wants it but the husband turns her down!. She is gorgeous and tries coming on to him with lingerie and he doesn't care. He's not gay. They have no kids yet. What are your thoughts on these two couples? What is considered an average sex life? (I dont' use normal because I don't think there is a normal) What can they do to help their marriages? Serious answers only from those with marriage experience please. Let me answer to a few of your comments with some additional details. These people are all very close to me, I know the details. Couple A. The man is extremely sex driven and never satisfied (had a porn addiction in the past). The woman is on the opposite end of the spectrum. She wants sex and romance but for some reason doesn't with her husband (It's not like she wants anybody outside the home either) That is one of the main things they fight about, as well as everything else because they're on thin ice all the time. She should be out of postpartum by now. (2 years is youngest) Couple B. THe man is definately not gay and there is no infidelity in either relationships. They are not going to get divorced they get along as well as a married couple would for the most part. Unlike couple A who has considered divorce.

Voting Question: Why has my boyfriend lost his drive for me and want oral sex only?

My partner and I have been together for almost 2 years now, and ever since we started having problems the sex has dwindled. We have our good days and bad days, yet he only seems to want blow jobs. I know he is self conscious about his weight (he put on about 10 kg when i got pregnant, I put on 14 and lost 18 kg) but he don't seem to care too much because he doesn't do anything about it. I've tried various ways to get him in the mood: Dressing up in lingerie and high heals, lighting candles, talking dirty, naughty texts, kissing his neck and touching him...but you'd be surprised to hear most times he will just say "Im not interested tonight.", or "I dint feel like it, or "not tonight babe, sorry". Other times he will say to me "I'll come to bed later, I just want to look at this first" (this meaning: look at cars and boats on the net), or "take off your undies and jump in bed" but he usually comes to bed hours later and we never end up having sex. Or I end up waking up during the night and find him asleep on the couch. The times when he seems to aroused, he just wants blow jobs. Before this he would either do "69" or just bj. I don't mind oral sex, but I prefer more intimate sex. I've asked him many times why he wants bj and not sex, he tells me that "he doesn't feel like it, he just wants a bj" I give in and just do it (he tells me how wonderful I am at it), but afterwards I just feel used. We don't have steamy passionate kissing sessions because he thinks I'll get the wrong idea (think we hare about to have sex). He barely kisses me at all, usually just goodbye and hello (which isn't a great kiss either because he reeks or smoke and i don't like it. He used to chew gum or come in and brush his teeth then kiss me properly, now that has even gone. Every now and again he"ll give me a proper kiss and I think that he wants me again, but it still doesn't happen...romance, sex..:( He's told me that he has lost his drive for me and doesn't know how to get it back, and doesn't try. I am starting to get really close with my boyfriend's mom. I got lingerie while shopping with her last month and surprised my boyfriend with it. When I told him that I got it when I went out shopping with his mom and that she even gave me advice on what lingerie to choose and all, he giggled saying that he was not too comfortable with it. My boyfriend loves his 3 dogs, he had a very rough childhood and has never had a good relationship with his family so he considers them to be the only family he has, he even refers to them as "his kids". He even said that the main reason he works is for them to have a place to live, they're his motivation in life. I have absolutely no problem with that.The problem is that they're very spoiled, absolutely no manners. He can never stay over at my place or even come to visit for more than a few hours because he can't leave them alone, we can't go anywhere for the weekend because of the same reason. For the past few years, I've had no desire to have sex. This is starting to become a big problem in my marriage. I love my husband and do want the relationship to work, but I just have no desire for sex. I have been having sex for him, but after a candid talk this weekend he picked up his things and walked out. I got him to stay but, the problem still exists. I've never been a touchy/feely intimate person, and he has. However, if we're not in a place where we can have sex, the touching is annoying to me. Don't get me wrong, he does turn me on...and I enjoy sex with him. However, I don't think about sex until we are about to have sex.
